Windermere Preparatory School is a private, coeducational PK-12 college preparatory school in Windermere, Florida, established in 2000. The Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School reflect a friendly neighborhood environment, with spacious classrooms, state of-the-art gymnasium and athletic fields, and 8 lanes/25 yard competitive swimming pool. The dining facilities include a boutique café, primary school lunchroom, and a large secondary school dining area. Presently, WPS employs over 160 faculty and staff who hold multiple degrees and are state certified. WPS is fully accredited by (SAC) Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, (FCIS) Florida Council of Independent Schools, Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and (FKC) Florida Kindergarten Council, International Baccalaureate, as well as the (FHSAA) Florida High School Athletic Association.
